COVID-19 Player Precautions:
- If participant is experiencing cold/flu symptoms, they must NOT come to the field. All participants will be screened before and after each session.
- Participants should come to their session dressed in appropriate attire, and should not change clothes on site.
- Participants must bring their own water bottle and must not share with others.
- Participants are encouraged to bring your own hand sanitizer and perform frequent hand hygiene.
- Participants should refrain from touching eyes, nose, mouth and face while participating or while wearing sporting gloves.
- Participants are encouraged to exhibit good respiratory etiquette (i.e., sneezing or coughing into the crook of the elbow, no spitting, no clearing of nasal passages, coughing or sneezing into a tissue).
- Participants should not apply scented products at the field, as this can increase the occurrence of sneezing or coughing.
- No spitting, clearing of nasal passages, handshakes, high fives, fist bumps, chest bumps, or group celebrations allowed.
- Participants must not arrive at the field more than 10 minutes in advance of their session time, and must use the parking lot & access point closest to their field.
COVID-19 Parent/Spectator Precautions:
Please note: Members of the sport cohort group include the players, referees, coaches, first aid-certified individual, and training staff. Parents & spectators are NOT considered part of the sport cohort group, and are therefore expected to maintain physical distancing of at least 2m from anyone outside of their cohort family.
- Parents and spectators must stay on the opposite side of the field as the coaching staff/team, and are not permitted to enter the playing area at any time.
- Cheering and yelling from spectators is highly discouraged as it presents a high risk of spreading droplets.
- Please ensure that one family member remains on site to apply first aid (with direction from a registered first-aid certified individual) if necessary.
- Participants must not arrive at the field more than 10 minutes in advance of their session time, and must use the parking lot & access point closest to their field.
